Steph relocated from Oxford in 2021 and joined Emscote Vets in June.
She studied Information Design at the University of the Arts, London followed by Biomedical Science at King's College before pursuing a career in Veterinary Nursing. Since qualifying, she has gained experience in a wide variety of practices including first opinion, referral and large animal practice. She's had rescue cats all her life and has spent the past 5 years working in feline-only practice. Since returning to companion animal practice she is having a fantastic time seeing hedgehogs, bunnies and so many different dog breeds.
She has a keen interest in Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture focusing on alternative ways to relieve Chronic pain. She trained in Western Veterinary Acupuncture in 2016. In March 2017 she completed her ISFM Certificate in Feline Nursing. She finished her postgraduate certificate in Anaesthesia in 2019 and she has applied to start her MA in Anaesthesia in 2021.
Steph adopted her kitty Bruce in 2020. He has FLV and is enjoying a quiet life after years on the streets. When Steph isn't nursing she spends her time thru-hiking National Trails and is currently training for the London Marathon in October to help raise money for Brain Research UK.
